Dr Stephan Onggo

Associate Professor of Business Analytics at the Centre for Operational Research, Management Sciences and Information Systems (CORMSIS), Southampton Business School, University of Southampton, UK. His research interest lies in simulation modelling with applications in the food supply chain and health care. Dr Onggo is the PI of an EPSRC funded project, Relief-OpS, to design a resilient relief food supply network for natural disasters in West Java (Indonesia) using optimisation-via-simulation. Currently, he is supervising PhD students, working on real-time simulation optimisation in an emergency department and the automotive industry, and behavioural modelling and simulation in the food supply chain, tourism, and project management. Furthermore, he is the associate editor for the Journal of Simulation, the OR Society’s Simulation SIG chair and a member of The OR Society’s General Counsel. He is actively involved in the Winter Simulation Conference as the track coordinator of Agent-Based Simulation
